Are you hosting a dinner party, small celebration, or want to have a nice dinner with family and friends? With a wide range of cuisines and styles, I specialize in chef driven, experiential tasting menus for groups of up to twelve, offering a multi-course dining experience that is well paired with the style and focus of your gathering!

Events + Catering

From hors d'oeuvres to entrees, I develop and execute a menu that will surely wow the guests at your next party, event or gathering with great flavor and presentation! I can accommodate large or small groups, work within a range of budgets, and partner with the host to take the pressure and stress of catering off your plate.

Buffet style is the preferred serving method.

  • For most dinners and events, it is best to book at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance to allow adequate time for menu development, planning, proper communication and thorough execution.

    The more elaborate, extensive or large the menu is, the more time is needed to prepare. I can work with tight timelines, or help recover from last minute cancelations, but ask that you be understanding to the course and menu limitations this provides.

  • A memorable dining experience does not need to be the most expensive part of your event, celebration or dinner! I can work with a range of budgets and will help craft a menu that is affordable and enjoyable. Private dinners often start around $60 per person, with catering varying from $15 to $50 per person or more depending on the number of courses, guests and ingredients. I do require a 50% booking deposit to secure your date, with full payment due the day of the dinner or event.

  • Accommodating dietary restrictions is no worry! From gluten free to plant based, I can make sure that one or all of your guests have a pleasant meal with a thoughtful and safe menu. Growing up with a family that had celiac, lactose intolerance, and other food sensitivities has inspired me to create adaptable dishes that are delightful.

  • Depending on the menu, space and facilities.

    For private chef’s dinners, items are prepared off-site, then cooked, finished and plated on-site. With catering, cooking is typically done off-site, then delivered ready to serve. I will work with you during the initial conversation and menu development to coordinate this.

    When I cook on-site, I handle the cleanup and dishes. So you can enjoy a relaxing, work-free experience!

  • While I have standard menus featuring signature dishes, I can customize each menu based on your event, theme, guests and budget. With experience and passion for a variety of cuisines, I can work with you to develop a menu that is full of flavor, excitement and a truly memorable experience. American comfort food, traditional Italian, and authentic Mexican are the cuisines I specialize in.

  • I am very passionate about using high quality ingredients! Knowing how your food is made and where it comes from is key to quality. Using as many locally grown and made ingredients as possible ensures freshness, seasonality, and it supports our local farmers, ranchers and purveyors!

  • Maybe it’s an anniversary dinner, a family gathering, or a holiday dinner. Whatever the occasion, hiring a Chef Jonny is an easy and simple way to have a memorable experience!

    One of my favorite elements of a chef driven dinner is to provide engaging presentations and executions, where guests can enjoy the start of each course learning about the dish, a table-side preparation, or an interactive first bite.

    From planning and deciding on the menu, to serving and cleanup, I will make sure that you can enjoy a chef driven meal with little hassle!

  • If you aren’t sure on a final menu for your event, or want to explore a variety of options, I am happy to host a private chef’s tasting for up to 4 people! The cost for this starts at $75 per person, and is due at the time of booking. For bookings of more than $2,000, a complimentary tasting for 2 is provided.

  • I am able to provide dinnerware, flatware and servingware for dinners and events of up to 20 people. With a variety of styles and designs, I pair the dinnerware with the menu to support a remarkable visual experience.

    For buffets, I will always provide the servingware, chaffing dishes, and serving utensils complimentary.
